After a year of intense work, we have launched the new Rodman 1290 Evolution, our main novelty for this season. A real challenge for the shipyard as it tackles the renovation of one of the most iconic models in its history.

The new Rodman 1290 Evolution follows the design line of the new Rodman 1090 Evolution, but maintains the performance, robustness and character of the Rodman 1250 hull.  She is undoubtedly the turning point in the development of our new line of boats.

RODMAN 1290, A LEADER’S REVOLUTION

Rodman’s technical and development teams have perfectly combined the Shipyard’s know-how, experience and quality of building with the most innovative design and decoration elements.

The result, the New Rodman 1290 Evolution represents the perfect balance between past and present, completely renewing herself whilst maintaining the key attributes of the Rodman brand with more contemporary aspects regarding design and functionality.

A versatile boat, aimed at a wide range of public, specialized in the practice of sport fishing, but without giving up the comforts of the most exclusive cruise.

She will be launched in two versions, Hard Top and Fly-Bridge, with the possibility of being customized to the use and requirements of each owner.

The first units have installed the option of 2 Volvo IPS 600 engines, 440 hp each, which has allowed this new model to improve its performance considerably. As maximum speed 36 knots were reached, with a 24-26 knot cruising speed.

In addition, the first units have been optionally equipped with the latest navigation and equipment technologies.

Volvo Penta’s dynamic positioning system allows the owner to fix the position of his boat and keep her there, without the need to be at the controls. This functionality offers many alternatives in the practice of sport fishing as well as improving the comfort of navigation, especially in anchoring and mooring areas.

The Seakeeper 5 Gyro-stabilizers are another of the state-of-the-art optional equipment that have been installed in the first units. This equipment will allow the owner to keep the boat stable, at anchor and while sailing, eliminating 95% of the rolling caused by the waves. Comfort is increased and, particularly in sport fishing at anchor, such well-being is considerably improved.

The new Rodman 1290 Evolution becomes the best choice for Owners who are looking for a seaworthy boat, safe and reliable, authentic and modern, comfortable, functional and capable of being equipped with the latest generation of navigation and comfort technology.

AN INTERIOR TO THE CONSUMER’S TASTE

Inside the new Rodman 1290, the inclusion of windows on the hull and the larger window area in the cabin, as well as the three sliding shutters cockpit door, provide this new boat with a great interior luminosity, which results in a feeling of amplitude and available space on board.

The selection of chosen materials and the offer of decoration options, allow to configure the interior to your taste, using natural, careful and light materials and textures.

Starting from this season, the most emblematic models of the fisher-cruiser range are available in a completely renovated version: Rodman 890 Ventura, Rodman 1090  Evolution, Rodman 1290 Evolution and Rodman 33 Offshore, a total of 4 new models that define and reinforce the leadership of this Rodman boat range.

The launching of our latest model represents the full renovation of one of the most emblematic models in our history, the  Rodman 1250.
