Rodman is building two new 22-metre patrol boats for the Maritime Service of the Spanish Civil Guard
Rodman has been awarded a new contract for the construction of two Rodman 66 patrol boats.
Rodman Polyships S.A.U., a Shipyard of the Rodman Group specialized in the construction of all types of fibreglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) and aluminium crafts, is building two new all-weather patrol boats, the Rodman 66 model, for the Maritime Service of the Spanish Civil Guard.
This model has been specifically developed to undertake patrol operations, fight illegal immigration, protect the marine environment, carry out surveillance and counter drug trafficking tasks.
This new contract was awarded last February, and the total value of the contract amounts to €5,594,268.
The execution period is 21 months, with the first unit due to be delivered in 2026 and the second in 2027.
This significant new order consolidates Rodman’s experience, expertise and know-how in the design and construction of high-performance patrol boats, enabling the company to stand out as an international leader in the construction of this type of boats.

She is a monohull cabin-type construction, with a hull and deck made of aluminium and a superstructure of fibreglass-reinforced polyester (FRP), incorporating multi-axial hybrid materials comprising aramid, E-glass and other synthetic and mineral fibres.
Built under classification X100 A1 SSC Patrol Mono HSC G3, for special high-speed monohull crafts.
This new Rodman 66 patrol boat has been developed by the design, technical and engineering teams at the shipyard, perfectly combining high performance, reliability, build quality and seaworthiness. With an overall length of 22 metres, she will reach a maximum speed of 43 knots.
The boat can accommodate up to five crew members and has two cabins. The layout is completed by a galley, dining area, lounge and a complete bathroom.
With a range of over 500 nautical miles, the new Rodman 66 offers great versatility for surveillance and intervention operations.
This model has been developed by taking into account every requirement specified by the customer, as well as the various technical and construction quality requirements specific to the Rodman standard, thereby optimising the safety and comfort of the crew and passengers on board.
