• Last January, Rodman was awarded the contract for the design and construction of 8 units of the Rodman 55 model.

  • After the initial design phase, Rodman has started the construction of these patrol boats.

Rodman Polyships S.A.U., a Rodman Group Shipyard specialised in the construction of all types of GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester) boats and vessels, will build 8 new high speed patrol boats for the surveillance service of the State Agency of Tax Administration (Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria).

The execution period is 36 months for all the units, 15 months for the first vessel and the remaining 7 will be delivered with a 3 month interval between each of them.

The new Rodman 55 units will be high-speed boats, designed for patrolling the territorial sea and contiguous zone, repression of smuggling, interception, visits, searches, physical presence and surveillance of compliance with national and international laws.
